Studying Revelation Series

Intro—The Testimony of Jesus

Are you ready to read Revelation? or study it? What about with a group? In this intro to the series, we look at what we need in order to begin studying Revelation.

Revelation 1-3—The Seven Lampstands

It's time to begin your study of Revelation! These first few chapters make it pretty easy to get started on the right foundation. We have an obvious vision of Christ and a constant call from the Lord to hear what He is saying and overcome. "Blessed is he that reads ..."

Revelation 4-5—The Lion & Lamb

Behold the Lion of Judah ... the Lamb newly slain ... Join in worship with the 24 elders, 4 living creatures, and multitudes of other beings as you see Him at the center of the throne doing what no one else could ever do.

Revelation 6-8.5—The Seven Seals

The four horsemen, martyrs, signs in the heavens, and silence—these seals on the scroll were impossible to open until the Lion of Judah, the newly-slain Lamb, ascended and began to unseal them. In our time and the near future we see God's will unfold, bringing disaster everywhere, but always moving toward His kingdom of peace.

Revelation 8.6-11—The Seven Trumpets

At the roar of the Lion of Judah, the last trumpet sounds, and the mystery of God is completed! Can you find the testimony of Jesus in the midst of all of the trumpets? While one-third of everything is burned, destroyed, or darkened can we look beyond and realize what's happening and why?

Revelation 12-14—The Trinity of Evil

Do you see the red dragon with seven heads and ten horns when you read Revelation? Do you notice the beasts of the antichrist and the false prophet? These all become a dark background for the shining of the testimony of Jesus through His overcomers.

Revelation 15-18—The Seven Bowls of Wrath

The final fury of God is revealed upon the earth as the seven bowls of His wrath are poured out. Judgment comes to the mysterious woman, Great Babylon. And the hidden testimony of Jesus is scattered all throughout these judgments. Whoever has an ear to hear, there is a message for today from Revelation 15-18.

Revelation 19-20—The King of kings

The King of kings brings His reign to the earth—Hallelujah! Here we see the battle of Armageddon, Satan bound for 1000 years, the King's reign, the Great White Judgment Throne, and the end of Death and Hades in the Lake of Fire.

Revelation 21-22—The New Jerusalem

At the end of the Bible, we see a new heaven and earth and the New Jerusalem—a new creation. The old and corrupt have passed away. He makes all things new! In this last talk through our series studying Revelation, we find so much testimony of Jesus and we hear His call to "Come!"

The mystery of Israel: a conversation about prophecies and modern events

This is not a message, it is more of a discussion that I’ve been having with several people by phone call or email or chat or in person. This only includes some notes on it but I wanted to share a more comprehensive view all at once.

God Has Spoken Series

Question: Where can I get the audio messages of Stephen Kaung's God Has Spoken series? If I could recommend only one book or series by Stephen Kaung it would be his God Has Spoken series. He shared a message for each book of the Bible, giving a simple overview and revealing the way to find Christ as you read. It is not only his classic set but it's His way with the Scriptures. Our brother could always find Christ and find Him as He's meant to be found. For a new believer and an old believer, this is the first set to have as guide through the Bible and a reference set to go back to later on.  Below are links to each of the original messages.   Old Testament  Introduction to the Old Testament Genesis -The Will of God Exodus -The Works of God Leviticus - The Ways of God Numbers -The Walk of God Deuteronomy - The Word of God Joshua - Possessing the Land   Judges - Possessing all the Possessions Ruth - Recovery of the Inheritance I Samuel - Epoch-...

How do I prepare to share a 5-minute message?

I just received a question via text from a brother who is about to share a short word at an upcoming event. He wanted to know how I prepare when I'm sharing a word. There are many more details to talk about, but for those 5-minute times, here are my notes: 1) Pray for the people  The "burden of the word" (Mal 1:1) or the specific main word I get often comes through this. If I have no clue what to share on and I'm asking the Lord about it, the answer doesn't always come until I begin to pray for the people. More often than not, I'll be praying for the souls, and some Scripture or topic will come through that. Sometimes I already have the word, and I cannot tell when it came, but I know what I should share on. In your case, you may have a word already in your heart that has worked in you to get you to this point. Even still, you take the word and bring it to the Lord and pray for the people that will be listening. 2) Meditate and receive the word The largest par...
