Kingdom: Some helps on the essential spiritual principle of Gift vs. Reward - and on many end-time events.

Kingdom Talks

Update (May 2021):

I'm working on a series of short 10-minute videos called "Kingdom Talks" that goes through the basics with the principle of Gift vs. Reward and applies it to many current and end-time events. Send me a note if you'd like to see some of the videos while they're in the current rough-cut stage.
Now back to the original post (June 2020)

Kingdom Series of Messages

Some years back (2011) I shared 3 messages in Richmond on Kingdom concepts.

It was for those 3 messages that I quickly made some charts and other handouts.

Kingdom Charts

Before then I had drawn these out so many times in small talks, Bible studies, or while preaching. I've since used them as hundreds of handouts and email-outs for believers seeking to connect some of these dots. If you're printing them, they're built to be on an 11" x 17" piece of paper. Any local copy shop can do that for you. But you can also print them on regular-sized sheets and just connect two of them together.

These handouts need an upgrade in design. In 2011 they were not nice on the eyes and now they seem even more outdated. They do provide some Scriptures and explanations for many questions that come up and create more questions.

If we were in person we would usually begin with a small question that someone has asked like: "Is Hades the same as Hell?" and from that question, it would lead to more and more until finally, you're back to Hades after looking at the 1000 year Kingdom Age and the principle of assurance of salvation. So the very nature of these charts is circular instead of linear. They're meant to connect and reconnect with other areas and other questions.

I'm not sure if they are easy to understand without listening to the messages they were built for or without having someone to talk through it. I'd love to post follow-up questions and make many more connections with this.

Some updates are happening now, and I'll post those once they're ready. But for the sake of having these available, I'm posting the old charts here, sharing my notes.

I've posted some pics of the charts below here. The first one is the one that I'd typically print on 11 x 17. The other two can then just go on the back of that as two separate pages (if you fold it in half). The first one is a more panoramic view of the ages. The second one shows the timing of the Lord's return. And the third one is meant to focus on the kingdom age of 1000 years.

And here are a couple more handouts that were used in the past focusing on the principle of Gift & Reward:

The mystery of Israel: a conversation about prophecies and modern events

This is not a message, it is more of a discussion that I’ve been having with several people by phone call or email or chat or in person. This only includes some notes on it but I wanted to share a more comprehensive view all at once.

God Has Spoken Series

Question: Where can I get the audio messages of Stephen Kaung's God Has Spoken series? If I could recommend only one book or series by Stephen Kaung it would be his God Has Spoken series. He shared a message for each book of the Bible, giving a simple overview and revealing the way to find Christ as you read. It is not only his classic set but it's His way with the Scriptures. Our brother could always find Christ and find Him as He's meant to be found. For a new believer and an old believer, this is the first set to have as guide through the Bible and a reference set to go back to later on.  Below are links to each of the original messages.   Old Testament  Introduction to the Old Testament Genesis -The Will of God Exodus -The Works of God Leviticus - The Ways of God Numbers -The Walk of God Deuteronomy - The Word of God Joshua - Possessing the Land   Judges - Possessing all the Possessions Ruth - Recovery of the Inheritance I Samuel - Epoch-...

How do I prepare to share a 5-minute message?

I just received a question via text from a brother who is about to share a short word at an upcoming event. He wanted to know how I prepare when I'm sharing a word. There are many more details to talk about, but for those 5-minute times, here are my notes: 1) Pray for the people  The "burden of the word" (Mal 1:1) or the specific main word I get often comes through this. If I have no clue what to share on and I'm asking the Lord about it, the answer doesn't always come until I begin to pray for the people. More often than not, I'll be praying for the souls, and some Scripture or topic will come through that. Sometimes I already have the word, and I cannot tell when it came, but I know what I should share on. In your case, you may have a word already in your heart that has worked in you to get you to this point. Even still, you take the word and bring it to the Lord and pray for the people that will be listening. 2) Meditate and receive the word The largest par...
